Club de Cuervos is Netflix’s first all-spanish language series. Directed by Gaz Alazraki (Nosotros Los Nobles), the 13 episode series will be available to stream on August 7.
Today, Netflix debuted the official trailer of Cuervos, which stars Luis Gerardo Méndez as Chava Iglesias and Mariana Trevino, as Isabel Iglesias Reina and features Stephanie Cayo, Ianis Guerrero, Antonio de la Vega and Daniel Gimenez Cacho.
Set in Mexico, Club De Cuervos will focus on the wealthy Iglesias family. When their patriarch dies, his heirs engage in an outrageous battle to determine who will gain control of his beloved professional soccer team: The Cuervos of Nuevo Toledo.
Chava, the playboy son, whose main talent is to party hard, is the complete opposite of his sister Isabel, who works diligently day in and day out. What makes matter worse is the addition of their father’s ex-girlfriend, who rattles things up by claiming she’s pregnant. But, conflict isn’t limited to those at the top of the organization in this series. Everyone, from coaches to players, adds to the zesty chaos.
The Alazraki Productions series was created by Alazraki and Mike Lam and executive produced by Alazraki, Leonardo Zimbron, Lam, Jay Dyer, with producers Moises Chiver and Monica Vargas.
