Bella Thorne has been cast alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger to star in the new YA movie, Midnight Sun, based on a 2006 Japanese film.
Thorne will portray Katie, a 17-year-old who suffers from a rare disease that makes even the smallest amount of sunlight deadly. Since childhood she has been sheltered and confined to her house during the day. Things change when she meets Charlie (Schwarzenegger) and sparks fly.
Scott Speer, director who helmed Step Up: Revolution, is set to direct the young adult picture with Eric Kirsten writing the script. John Rickard, Zack Schiller and Devin Andre will produce alongside David Boies, James McGough, Alan Ou, Hiroki Shirota and Speer who are executive producing.
The actress and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son are long-time friends who have spent some time together in the past, sharing pictures with each other on social media. This is the first time that they will be working together.
Thorne has a full plate this year. The 17-year-old is also set to take the lead in the upcoming TV movie, Perfect High, about a dancer who starts using heroin after a knee injury, and has a role in the upcoming MTV series Scream.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got
to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or
two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
