Enrique Iglesias/Juan Gabriel

Universal Music announced today it will host the L Festival, a cultural event to be held on October 24 and 25 at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. The prominent record label hopes to promote art, music, and food from all across Latin America.

This inaugural edition will be headlines by two of the most prominent Latino singers: Mexican singer-songwriter, Juan Gabriel and pop sensation Enrique Iglesias. Mexican regional acts will also be part of the festivities, including La Arrolladora Banda El Limón and Julión Álvarez. Other musical acts include Juan Magan, Zion y Lennox, La Santa Cecilia and Far East Movement.

“It’s great to have spaces like this for Latino or Mexican acts to showcase themselves,” said La Marisoul, lead singer of La Santa Cecilia to the LA Times. “We’re bicultural … and we just like to express this love for all kinds of music through our music.”

Approximately, 25 musical acts will participate in the festival. The goal is to bring multiple generations together. Tickets for L Festival – Feria Cultural Latinoamericana go on sale July 15 and can be purchased on its official site.
