Variety Latino presents its second annual ’10 Latinos to Watch’ list, which highlights and recognizes the work of 10 up-and-coming Latino talent across film, television and digital platforms, both on screen and behind the scenes, as part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
We are pleased to announce this year’s honorees and they are:
Alfonso Herrera (Sense8, The Exorcist), Eiza González (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Baby Driver), Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush, Grease Live!, Elephant Kingdom), Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine Nine, DriverX), Eric Ochoa (estrella YouTube, Mono, Single by 30), Allen Maldonado (The Equalizer, Straight Outta Compton, Black–ish), Anabelle Acosta (Quantico, Ballers), Jorge Granier (productor ejecutivo de Jane The Virgin), Alicia Sanz (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Billionaire Boys Club, Shots Fired), y Richard Cabral (Southland, American Crime, Lethal Weapon).
We’re also proud to announce that we’ll be honoring the legendary actress Rita Moreno with the Variety Latino Legacy Award. Moreno has been helping to break barriers for Latinos in the entertainment industry for more than 70 years. She is also one of only 12 performers with EGOT status: The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
All honorees will be recognized at a special reception to be held at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, on Wednesday, September 28th. They will also be featured in the September 27 issue of Variety Magazine, with a feature will take a look at this year’s up and coming “buzz worthy” Latino talent in film and television. Talent profiles will include video interviews on VarietyLatino.com.

Always follow your heart.
¿Cuánto dinero han pagado los publicistas de estos actores para lograr esto?
Eso mismo me pregunto yo.Esto es un chiste.Aparte de Eiza todos los demás no han hecho nada para saber quiénes son y no son jóvenes.
