The cast of “Friends” reunited Sunday night to pay tribute to sitcom TV director, James Burrows. Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow were all present at the taping of the upcoming NBC special. The two hour documentary will see the casts of all of his most famous shows come together to celebrate his 1,000th sitcom episode.
Sadly, Matthew Perry was unable to attend. He’s currently in London working on a play. He will tape his intro separately.
Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, who play Penny and Leonard on “The Big Bang Theory”, both shared a photo on Instagram of the star-studded meet-up.
Le Blanc, who played a sandwich eating Casanova named Joey, also shared his experience on Twitter. “What a great night. So nice to see the casts of so many great shows who’s lives have been touched by Jimmy Burrows.”
“The Big Bang Theory” and the “Friends” casts will also be joined by the actors of “Will And Grace”, “Two And A Half Men” and “Frasier”, among other key sitcoms.
Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows, airs at 9 PM Sunday, February 21 on NBC.
