Jennifer Lawrence, star of “The Hunger Games” and the highest paid actress in the world, has harsh words for the Republican Party.

On the latest edition of “Vogue”, the actress explains why she does not support the GOP, in spite of growing up in a conservative family in Kentucky.

“I was raised a Republican, but I just can’t imagine supporting a party that doesn’t support women’s basic rights,” says Lawrence.

In regards to Donald Trump, she continues to stand behind her disdain for the real estate mogul. “My view on the election is pretty cut-and-dried: If Donald Trump is president of the United States, it will be the end of the world,” she maintains, adding, “he’s the best thing to happen to the Democrats ever.”

Lawrence has not yet declared which candidate she’ll be supporting this election cycle, though Hillary Clinton looks to a be aiming for an endorsement. The candidate recently tweeted a link to the actress’ October essay on gender pay inequality, with the word “Brava”.

Fom Julia Roberts to Josh Hutcherson, fellow actors have also praised Lawrence for drawing attention to the issue.

“When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with dicks, I didn’t get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself,” Lawrence wrote last month.

Lawrence can be seen next in David O. Russell‘s Joy, which hits theaters December 25.
