Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian have decided to dismiss their divorce case and stay husband and wife, TMZ confirms.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, went before a judge to withdraw the documents that the couple had signed to finalize their marriage back in December 2013. The files were said to be waiting to be processed and signed by a judge. Kardashian and Odom both signed the documents that Wasser presented to the judge asking to stay together and dismiss the case.
Kardashian had tried to save her marriage to the basketball star by having him enter rehab shortly after she filed for divorce, but things didn’t pan out. It wasn’t until news broke out that Odom was hospitalized in Nevada after he was found unconscious at a brothel on Oct. 13, that the reality star reconnected with her ex. The couple was still legally married since the judge had not ruled in the case.
During his stay at the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Kardashian was asked to make his medical decisions. This week, Odom was transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles and is said to be recovering and improving.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Kardashian broke her silence and shared a message on her website.
“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” expressed Kardashian. “You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
