Netflix announced the release date for the animated film The Little Prince, which will open in select theaters and the streaming site on August 5. The animated adaptation also got a brand new trailer, which follows a young girl and her epic adventures with a new friend.
This classic tale centers on a Little Girl and her mother who is preparing her for the world in which they live. Her kind-hearted neighbor, The Aviator introduces The Little Girl to his new friend The Little Prince, and a world where anything is possible.
The voice cast includes Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard, James Franco, and Ricky Gervais.
Netflix bought the rights to the film in March after Paramount Pictures unexpectedly dropped the film from its schedule, according to Deadline.
