Reality star Yolanda Hadid is looking forward to more privacy in her life as she made the official announcement via Instagram this morning, confirming her departure from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Hadid, mom to models Gigi, Bella and Anwar, saw her personal life unfold publicly on season six, including her battle with Lyme disease and the beginning of the end of her marriage to producer David Foster.
“I would have loved a more graceful exit than Season 6, but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life,” the message reads. “I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv family as I continue to focus on my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our home.”
She adds, “Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years. I am grateful for the housewife experience and all it has taught me. I’m excited about this choice and look forward to the next chapter of my life………………”
Disappointed fans showed their support of the Hadid matriarch in the comments of her post, but they may not be losing her completely. Other RHOBH who have left the show and then have made guest appearances include Brandi Glanville, Camille Grammer, and Taylor Armstrong.
Shortly after she shared the news with her fans, Bravo’s Andy Cohen tweeted: “We love you, @YolandaHFoster.”
