Don’t mess with Jean-Claude Van Damme or he might storm off during an interview! This is what happened on Thursday when he appeared live via satellite for an appearance on Australian morning show Sunrise. He slammed the interview calling the questions “boring” and that they are the same inquiries the media has been asking him for twenty-five years.
“Sorry guys, I cannot do this anymore,” he said. “You are talking to a guy who is very rough, you know. . .Let me talk, let me talk please. The press, they’ve been asking me the same questions for the last 25 years: Kylie, ‘How’s your training,’ ‘How’s your this,’ ‘How’s your that?’ So I’m coming to Australia to maybe do something kind of different with the audience.”
He added,“Those interview you are giving me on TV right now, they are very boring. The question are very boring. It’s difficult for me to answer the question so I sweat, I don’t feel good, because they are boring. Next question? You have something interesting to ask me?”
Van Damme, also known as the ‘Muscles from Brussels,’ held this interview to promote an upcoming speaking tour down under in August. After this blow-up, there’s no telling how many Aussies will be in attendance.
The 55-year-old ended the awkward exchange by ripping off his mic and asking, “What the f**k is going on with Australia? What the f**k is going on? I cannot do this, I’m too natural, you can blow this stuff away. What is this.”
