One of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, Eva Mendes, is reportedly expecting her first child with Ryan Gosling.
Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, started dating in 2011, and played parents in the 2012 drama “The Place Beyond The Pines,” arguably Mendes’s best performance to date. Although neither of them has ever discussed their romantic relationship in public, Mendes expressed her admiration for her co-star/director in an exclusive interview with Variety Latino back in April, while promoting her clothing line for New York & Company.

The couple’s next movie together is “Lost River,” which premiered in Cannes in May and which Gosling himself wrote, produced, and directed. Eva described the project as “the most special experience of my career.”
In what is likely her most revealing interview ever, the Cuban American actress and entrepreneur also shared personal anecdotes about her childhood, the values that her parents instilled in her, how her mother inspired and shaped her, how she defines success at this stage in her career, and what happiness means to her.

“I have no interest in fame whatsoever,” Eva told us. “If I wanted to be famous, I could be at all the parties, taking pictures…When you see a photo of me from the paparazzi, I’m always at the supermarket buying groceries, or with the dog.”
“Fame doesn’t interest me,” she added, “Family interests me.”

And making Eva happy is a simple recipe: “Rice and beans and yucca,” she said. “And my family. Sharing with my family. It’s what everybody wants in life. My mom came over the other night and made me arroz con leche. That’s happiness to me.”
Clearly, Eva learned from the best!
