Ya comenzaron los Oscar y todos nos vestimos de gala para celebrar una de las fiestas más importantes del mundo del cine.

La ceremonia que se dio cita en el Dolby Theater reunió a lo mejor de Hollywood para premiar a las mejores películas de la temporada.

La alfombra roja estuvo marcada por elecciones acertadas de vestuario donde brillaron Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Rosamund Pike y como siempre la bella Lupita Nyong’o. Y entre los hombres que destacaron, David Oyelowo, Benedict Cumberbatch y por su puesto Neil Patrick Harris.

El animador como era de esperar no nos decepcionó y abrió con un número musical donde hizo chistes de que aún no están borrachos a la vez que mostraron una imagen de Cumberbatch tomando de una botellita.

En el resto del múmero musical recorrió lo mejor de Hollywood con imágenes donde vimos a Neil en pelis como “The Wizard of Oz”, “Ghost”, “Star Wars” y muchas más.

Sin duda el mejor momento fue cuando cantó junto a Anna Kendrick y cuando Jack Black se tomó el escenario.

La primera en presentar fue Lupita Nyong’o quien comenzó citando a Robin Williams para presentar al Mejor Actor Secundario, que como lo esperamos ganó J.K Simmons por su brillante papel en “Whiplash” y dio un discurso muy emocionante donde le pidió a todos los hijos a llamar a sus padres y decirles “Te amo”.

Luego de un chiste de “Fifty Shades”, como era de esperar, Dakota Johnson presentó a Adam Levine quien cantó “Lost Stars” de la película “Begin Again”.

“Ella conocida como Jenny from the Block, él como Chris Pine”, fue la introducción con que dio Neil Patrick Harris a la pareja que presentó el premio a Mejor Vestuario que se lo llevó la italiana Milena Canonero por “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, quien le dio las gracias al director de la película Wes Anderson.

Mejor Maquillaje también ganó esta película con Frances Hannon y Mark Coulier.

La cinta polaca “Ida” se quedó con el premio de Mejor Película Extranjera y dejando atrás a la argentina “Wild Tales”.

Otro momento increíble fue cuando cantaron el tema de “Lego Movie” “Everything is Awesome” donde vimos a algunos famosos recibir su Oscar de Lego como Oprah Winfrey y Steve Carell.

También nos encantó cuando Neil Patrick Harris imitó a Riggan en “Birdman” y salió ¡sólo con calzoncillos al escenario!

Jared Leto le dio el premio a Mejor Actriz de Reparto a Patricia Arquette por “Boyhood”, quien le dio las gracias a su familia en la película y quien dio un discurso feminista que fue aplaudido por todos.

Mejor Película Animada ganó nuevamente una cinta Disney, ya que el premio se lo llevó “Big Hero 6”, el que fue presentado por Zoe Saldana y Dwayne Johnson.

Emmanuel Lubezki ganó como era de esperar Mejor Cinematografía por “Birdman”, obteniendo el Oscar por segunda vez consecutiva, ya que el año pasado fue galardonado por “Gravity”.

Mejor Documental ganó la cinta sobre Edward Snowden, “CitizenFour”, mientras que el galardón a Mejor Canción fue “Glory” de la película “Selma” que fue interpretada con mucho sentimiento, donde vimos hasta lágrimas en los invitados.

Al aceptar el Oscar, John Legend dio un discurso muy emocionante donde dijo: “Selma es ahora, porque la lucha por la justicia es ahora”.

Como Mejor Guión Original ganó “Birdman” donde estuvieron presentes dos argentinos, Nicolás Giacobone y Armando Bo junto con el director de la cinta,  Alejandro G. Iñárritu junto con Alexander Dinelaris.

El premio a Mejor Guión adaptado fue para “The Imitation Game” donde ganó Graham Moore quien también emocionó con su discurso con la frase “Quédate extraño, quédate diferente.”

El premio a Mejor Director fue presentado por Ben Affleck quien le dio el premio a Alejandro González Iñarritu quien se quedó con la estatuilla y por segunda vez seguida un mexicano gana en esta categoría.

Eddie Redmayne ganó Mejor Actor por “The Theory of Everything” a quien se le vio muy emocionado en su discurso de aceptación y que felicitó a su co estrella Felicity Jones además del director de la cinta y la familia Hawking.

Como Mejor Actriz ganó Julianne Moore, como era de esperar por su papel de una profesora con Alzheimer en “Still Alice”.

Mejor Película ganó “Birdman” presentada por Sean Penn quién antes de entregar el premio dijo bromeando: “¿Quién le dio a estos una green card?”
