Maite Perroni, 10 Latinos To Watch

Maite Perroni is a Mexican singer-actress known for her performance in the hit Televisa telenovela Rebelde (2010). She rose to international fame after joining RBD, a pop band composed of five singers from Mexico. The band, who released five hit albums, quickly became a worldwide sensation and toured all over Europe, South and North America.

In 2009, the band parted ways and Perroni set aside her singing career to focus on her acting her. Since then, the multi-talented actress has starred in an array of soap operas, including Cuidado con el Ángel, Triunfo del Amor, Cachito de Cielo and La Gata.

Perroni co-starred this year in the animated film, Un gallo con muchos huevos, which opened at the box office to strong numbers. The starlet will also be appearing on the small screen in Antes Muerta que Lichita, a Univision production that premiered this summer.

She recently signed with Paradigm, a full service entertainment agency that will represent Perroni in the U.S. across the board in TV, music, film, and endorsements.
