Oh the shame that the Malfoys would face in real life if they found out that their only son was sorted into Gryffindor house!
Tom Felton, famously known as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, decided to finally join J.K. Rowling’s website Pottermore where all us Potterheads unite to work on our wizarding traits.
“Today was the day. I finally did it,” began the actor on his Twitter page as he continued on with his tweet. “I joined Pottermore and was sorted into……..Gryffindor. Heart broken x #slytherinforlife”
So what do you know, after 8 film of being a true Slytherin we come to find that the website dubbed him a Gryffindor.
It must have been a shock to find out that his entire wizarding time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was a lie and that the Sorting Hat incorrectly placed him in the wrong house. But while Felton declared himself a “Slytherin For Life” Rowling herself had a few words to say about the matter.
So could it be that Malfoy was always destined to be a Gryffndor? Sounds that way coming from the creator of the novels.
But cheer up Tom! Gryffindors are known for their courage, chivalry and determination, traits that one would be honored to have.
In the meantime while he comes to terms with this new discovery we will get to see the actor star in “Against The Sun,” a WW2 film about three men who find themselves on a lifeboat without water or food after being forced to leave their plane during a scouting mission.
