Justin Bieber is ready to turn over a new leaf and has publicly owned up for what he has done in the past couple of years.

The 20-year-old made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres” show where he surprised the host on her birthday episode and confessed that he was “really nervous” since this was the first TV appearance he had done in a while.

JB then went on to post an emotional video on his Facebook opening up about his nervousness and even apologizing for his arrogant behavior.

“I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now,” he stated in the dimly lit video. “It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year, year and a half.”

“I’m not what I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there was a lot of feelings going on in there,” he added. “Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.”

Biebs continued to discuss his past and opened up about how he was feeling as he sat across from Ellen, “I felt like people were judging me, and I really want people to know how much I care.”

It’s no secret that the troubled teen has had his fair share of run-ins with the police and even ended up getting a DUI arrest followed by many sessions in court.

Following the “Boyfriend” singer’s confession his loyal Beliebers started the hashtag #WeDontJudgeYouJustin which has been trending on Twitter with fans tweeting and telling their crush that they believe and love him.
