Sean Penn, Elizabeth Banks and Daniel Radcliffe were among several Hollywood stars who bravely participated in the latest lightning round of “Mean Tweets” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night on ABC. The recurring popular TV segment, in which celebs read rude tweets directed at them, is now on its ninth edition.
Two-time Oscar winner Penn was accused of being “dumb, rude and full of farts”, while the incomparable Julia Louis-Dreyfus was asked to “retire”. Radcliffe managed to read his mean tweet with a straight face after being compared to an aardvark.
And despite his recent success in “Creed,” Michael B. Jordan faced some harsh criticism from one Twitter user who’d like to “slap that mini feather duster he calls a mustache off his lip.”
The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies had a classy response to her diss, unlike Friends star Matthew Perry who pretended to be absolutely offended and outraged.
Other featured celebrities included Liv Tyler, Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Key and Peele, Colin Farrell and Viola Davis.
