Austin Lee Russell, also known as Chumlee in the reality TV series Pawn Stars has been arrested on drugs and weapon possession, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed on Wednesday.

According to authorities, officers raided Russell’s home Wednesday afternoon after obtaining a search warrant in connection with a sexual assault investigation. Officer Larry Hadfield, a department spokesman, stated Russell is a suspect in that case.
Police officers found methamphetamine, marijuana and at least one weapon during the search. Russell was being held pending an initial court appearance on 19 drug-possession charges and one weapon charge according to the Associated Press. His bail was set at $62,000.

Rick Harrison, Pawn Stars co-star, told FOX411 that family and friends were still piecing together the information surrounding Russell’s arrest. “We don’t have details yet but we are here to help Chumlee any way we can,” Harrison said via email.
Pawn Stars airs on History and centers around the activities at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Russell is one of the shop’s appraisers.
