Barbra Streisand will release a brand new album this year and is also set to go on tour. The legendary singer’s longtime manager Marty Erlichman announced the news Monday.
The album, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, will feature some of Hollywood’s biggest stars to sing Broadway classics, according to a press release released. Streisand will visit nine cities during her 2016 tour, starting in Los Angeles on Aug. 2, Brooklyn for two dates on Aug. 11 and 13, and wrapping things up in Toronto on Aug. 23.
Tickets for all shows go on sale May 25 and in Toronto May 19-22. Those who purchase tickets online will receive a CD of Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, due out after the tour wraps.
