Camila (Verónica Falcón) has led audiences to believe she was leaving her life behind in Mexico to be the queen bee in Texas Would she really abandon her daughter and her empire so her husband Epifanio (Joaquim de Almeida) could rule the roost? In an exclusive clip from Thursday night’s episode of Queen of the South, Camila sets one of her husband’s men straight about her upcoming plans.
“Women are vengeful by nature, she says in the clip. “And that’s also the answer to your question as to why I’ve concealed my life and plans from Epifanio. I’m going back to Mexico. And I’m going to take back what’s rightfully mine.”
There’s a war coming and her words are cutting through the bad guy like a hot knife through butter. At least she is allowing him another sunrise, but after that who knows who will live or die when Camila pushes forward to get back what she lost. Since the premiere episode, she’s made it clear that she’s prepared to leave her husband in the dust if he stands in her way.
How will Teresa (Alice Braga) play into her plans? That’s not known as of yet but she’s working hard to prove herself worthy of Camila’s trust. But now that she knows why Epifanio wants Teresa and her friend Brenda (Justina Machado) dead, she could use them to get what she wants.
She’s definitely ready to make this power play but what she plans to do exactly is still a mystery.
Tune into an all new episode of Queen of the South to find out how it all plays out, Thursday night at 10pm ET/PT and 9pm CT only on USA Network.
