East Los High is not only Hulu’s longest running series but also one of the only Hispanic shows tackling taboo topics including abortion, immigration, teenage pregnancy, LGBT issues, and sexually transmitted diseases. It’s a revolutionary show that is getting an extra special guest during season 4, international chart-topper Prince Royce.
By the end of season three, there was a lot of bloodshed, tears, wins, and losses. Eddie (Carlito Olivero) followed his sick mom across the border back to Mexico promising Gina (Alexandra Rodriguez) he’d be back in her arms in no time. But will he be able to get back in the country without a green card?
Things got steamy between Ceci (Danielle Vega) and Jacob (Gabriel Chavarria) but with Maya (Alicia Sixtos) back in town, will there be triangle? It sounds like the perfect set-up for a love triangle. At least psycho Pedro (René Alvarado) is in jail, so that’s one less problem for Ceci—for now.
It’s an all-new school year, here’s a preview of what’s coming up this season:
JD Pardo is back in season four and he hasn’t given up on Camila (Vannessa Vasquez). He’s proven to be nothing but trouble, but Camila is attracted to that so don’t expect that whole thing to be over. Both are out of jail but definitely not out of harms way.
Prince Royce makes his first appearance during episode three, when he’s introduced as Pedro, the Bomb Squad’s competing team’s coach. From his first moment on screen, Royce catches the eye of a special character at just the right time.
Season 4 of East Los High premieres on July 15.
