Just two days are left until the big release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life on Netflix and the cast have been keeping busy doing the media rounds. Scott Patterson, Liza Weil and Sean Gunn visited The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to discuss what fans can expect for the final four episodes. The hottest question that people can’t stop talking about is what the final four words of the series will be.
Gunn, who played the role of Kirk in the series, joked that the four words could be, “Kirk is your overlord.” Patterson also joked saying he told creator Amy Sherman-Palladino the final four words should be, “Drop the gun, Kirk.” The funniest suggestion came from show host Jimmy Fallon who said, “Stars Hollow never existed.” Basically, the entire town is really inside a snowglobe and never really existed! Mind blown, Lost level.
One of the biggest guesses for the final four words revolve around the theory that Rory (Alexis Bledel) will be pregnant in A Year in the Life and that she’ll have a daughter. Various theories include, “Her name is Lorelai Gilmore,” “Meet my daughter Lorelai,” and even Rory: “I’m pregnant,” Lorelai: “Me too.”
