After celebrating the holidays and Joe’s birthday together, E! News confirms that “Modern Family” star Sofía Vergara and actor Joe Manganiello are engaged.
Sources have told the outlet that Manganiello, who recently appeared in “Magic Mike,” asked for Sofía’s hand in marriage on Christmas Day while they were vacationing in Hawaii.
The couple has been inseparable since they started dating back in July, a couple months after she broke off her engagement with her then fiancé, Nick Loeb whom she was engaged to since 2012.
In early December rumors of an engagement between Sofía and Joe started to circulate after the pair was seen jewelry shopping in Los Angeles and according to sources Joe bought a $640 ring that was given to his lady.
Since then the love-birds have been seen everywhere and most recently they celebrated Christmas Day and Joe’s 38th birthday in Hawaii where Sofía Instagramed a picture of them both congratulating her BF on his special day.
Prior to that she had fueled engagement rumors by posting this image of her with her family and Joe where we can see a ring on that special finger.
It had been widely known that the “Modern Family” actress was Joe’s “celebrity crush” being that he revealed the detail in an issue of People Magazine back in June and now it will be his soon-to-be-wife!
