Neil Patrick Harris has shared his thoughts on this year’s Oscar nominations. Academy Awards host and Tony-winning Hedwig star released a clip following the Jan. 15 announcement of the nominations.
“The Oscar nominations just came out this morning, and that means one thing: I just lost $20,” he says as he hands over the bill to his daughter.
NPH we get it. It’s not everyday you lose $20 to a toddler, be it an adorable one like Harper Grace.
Harris will make his Oscars hosting debut on Feb. 22. He has emceed the Tony Awards four times and the Emmys twice.
Like NPH many were probably disappointed because their favorites didn’t get nominated.
Among those snubbed were Jennifer Aniston for Best Actress in “Cake”, David Oyelowo for Best Actor in “Selma”, Jake Gyllenhaal for Best Actor in “Nightcrawler”, Amy Adams for Best Actress in “Big Eyes” and “The Lego Movie” for Best Animated Feature Film.
