If you’re a Demi Lovato fan then you know today, January 28, is a very special day for the singer and her Lovatics.
No doubt about it Demi has come a long way in the past four years and with the help of treatment, loved ones and her fans she has gone on to live a much happier and healthier life.
Thus today, officially dubbed Lovatic Day, marks the four year anniversary of the 22-year-old leaving rehab where she was being treated for bulimia and bipolar disorder. Demi’s loyal fans continue with their tradition of using the hashtag #HappyLovaticDay and this year they are also using #4YearsUnbroken to show their love for the teen-queen.
Last year Demi celebrated with her fans and rejoiced in her newfound happiness from being Broken to Unbroken with the release of her self-help book “Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year” which chronicles Demi’s feelings that led her to inspire others and initiate a healing and positive vibe regimen that provided fans with words of wisdom and encouragement all through out the year.
“One of the scariest thing in life is when you come to the realization that the only thing that can save you is … yourself,” reads one of her lines from her book.
Countless times the ex-Disney star has opened up about her past struggles with alcoholism, drugs, eating disorders and depression and the hardships she faced to fit in and feel happy. To many it came as a surprise that she had so many pent up hardships and that happiness didn’t come easy even for someone who was on the rise of superstardom.
Now four years later Demi is living the life that she has always wanted and is enjoying the love and support that has come her way.
“Recovery is something that you have to work on every single day and it’s something that it doesn’t get a day off,” the star said in “”Stay Strong.”
These days the “Really Don’t Care” singer is getting back in the studio, promoting good causes such as The Mental Health Listening & Engagement tour and anti-bullying. While her Lovatics are celebrating on social with their favorite and best quotes that have helped them along the way.
Happy Lovatic Day!
How has Demi helped you in the past?
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times
it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance.
I must say you’ve done a very good job with this.
Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Safari. Outstanding Blog!
