Ariana Grande will no longer perform at this year’s MLB All-Star Game concert, instead fans will get to enjoy a performance by Demi Lovato.

Grande’s reps claim the cancellation is due to the singer’s recent trip to the dentist where she got her wisdom teeth pulled out.

The “Love Me Harder” singer is currently in the middle of a controversy after a security camera caught the singer and her boyfriend licking baked goods at a doughnut shop in Lake Elsinore, all while shouting “I hate Americans. I hate America.”

In a public statement, Grande said that her comments were taken out of context and apologized to anyone she offended.

“I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country,” she Grande. “What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words.”

The singer is currently traveling through Canada and the U.S. as part of her The Honeymoon convert tour.

The MLB All-Star Concert will take place on Saturday July 11th at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH.
