Will Smith made his grand return to the stage at the 16th annual Latin Grammy Awards that took place Thursday, November 19, 2015. Accompanying the Colombian musical group Bomba Estéreo, the actor and singer performed their collaborative remix of the Latin Grammy nominated single “Fiesta.”
Smith appearing from behind the stage in all white took the hook of the song while the crowd went wild, among them Jada Pinkett Smith and son Trey.
‘The Fresh Prince’ danced around the stage rapping the bilingual theme while pumping up everyone in attendance and making this an unforgettable night in Latin Grammy history.
Earlier in the day Smith shared an image on his Facebook page of his hand holding a microphone expressing his excitement, “Looking forward to getting back on the stage tonight.”
“Fiesta (Remix)” marks Smiths first musical collaboration in a decade. The announcement of his performance at the 2015 Latin Grammys was made back in October. “It’s truly an honor for me to perform at the Latin Grammys. To be surrounded with so many artists who have made such an impact globally is really exciting to me,” stated the Concussion actor about the opportunity.
