On Saturday, Jan. 24 Blake Shelton hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the first time.

The country singer and “The Voice” judge was a mega-hit on Saturday night’s episode and the cast had a grand ol’ time with Shelton performing country-inspired skits like “Wishing Boot” and “The Bachelor.”

Another one that drew a laugh was the “Family Feud” spoof with Kenan Thompson as Steve Harvey. In the skit “The Voice” coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine (Taran Killam), Pharrell (Jay Pharoah) and Christina Aguilera (Cecily Strong) took on the “American Idol” judges Keith Urban (Kate McKinnon), Nicki Minaj (Sasheer Zamata), Harry Connick, Jr. (Beck Bennett) and Steven Tyler (Kyle Mooney).

The six-minute parody brought about much laughs beginning with Levine’s Pro-Active commercial push and then Christina’s welcoming words, “It’s an honor for this proud Latina woman.”

With a laugh Steve replied, “Girl, you Latina the same way Taco Bell is Mexican food.”

Believe it or not, let it be known that the “Ain’t No Other Man” singer does have some Hispanic blood in her. Her father, Fausto Xavier Aguilera is Ecuadorian and she even released a Spanish-language album “Mi Reflejo” in 2000.

The judges continued to go on to the first round of “Something You Never Ask a Woman” without not much success.

Watch the hilarious interaction and see the blazing chemistry between “Levine” and Shelton as their bromance sizzles.
