John Travolta stars alongside Kate Bosworth and Devon Sawa in the new action-drama Life on the Line. A new trailer for the film was released on Tuesday.
The movie follows the lives of a crew of courageous power line workers who day-to-day face dangerous circumstances as they attempt to restore a crumbling electrical grid.
Travolta plays Beau, an experienced lineman devoted to his orphaned niece, Bailey (Bosworth), whom he raised following the death of his brother. Bailey’s boyfriend (Sawa) joins Beau’s linemen crew on the eve of a massive storm that threatens to rip their lives apart.
The cast includes Sharon Stone, Gil Bellows, Julie Benz and Ryan Robbins.
Life on the Line is directed by David Hackl (Into the Grizzly Maze). The film premiered at the Napa Valley Film Festival last November. Voltage Pictures will be releasing the film in 2016.
