Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any worse for Camila (Veronica Falcon) on Queen of the South, Epifanio (Joaquim de Almeida) stole $2.5 million dollars of her emergency funds. She has no drugs and not enough money to buy the amount she needs. This is exactly the position that her husband wanted her in, and it seems like she will finally smarten up about his involvement in her recent string of bad luck.
In this exclusive clip for Variety Latino, Camila is having a private conversation with her lawyer Teo Aljarafe (played by Mark Consuelos). Teo was recently told by his law partner to dump Camila as a client because all his other clients are jumping ship due to his affiliation with her. He refuses and now she’s asking him to skirt the law. As exciting as this has all been for Teo, he is putting a lot on the line for this woman he is obviously attracted to. Hopefully, he will snap out of it and save his career. Camila is not going to care about collateral damage, she only cares about herself.
In the official description for the episode, we also learn that Teresa (Alice Braga) will put her life on the line again for Camila. This time, she will go undercover to rip off some dealers in Florida. When something bad goes down, she’ll be forced to make a choice that will forever change her.
