Due to overwhelming demand, a second weekend has been added to the inaugural Desert Trip festival with the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who slated to play on Oct. 14-16. The musical line-up will also perform at the previously announced weekend that will kick things off on October 7-9.
The mega-concert will take place at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California, the same site where Coachella is held. Desert Trip is being produced by Goldenvoice, the same company behind the popular music festival.
The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will hit the stage on October 14, followed by Paul McCartney and Neil Young on October 15, and Roger Waters and the Who on October 16.
Three-day passes are available, with general admission tickets sold for $399, reserved floor at $699, $999, and $1,599, reserved grandstand at $999 and $1599 and standing pit at $1,599. Single day passes will also be sold, priced at $199.
