La mañana del jueves 14 de enero se dio a conocer la lista completa de nominados a la edición número 88 de los premios Oscar. Los nombres de los afortunados fueron anunciados totalmente en vivo por los cineastas Guillermo del Toro y Ang Lee acompañados del actor John Krasinski (The Office) y de la presidenta de La Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
Los Oscar 2016 se llevarán a cabo el domingo 28 de febrero en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood. Este año Chris Rock servirá como el animador de la esperada gala. Esta no es la primera vez que el comediante conduce esta importante ceremonia pues también lo hizo en 2005.
