Brooklyn-based  indie band Sleigh Bells has accused pop-singer Demi Lovato of illegally sampling two of their songs without permission. The band took to their official Twitter page to share their discontent.

“Flattered you guys sampled ‘Infinity Guitars’ & ‘Riot Rhythm’ for ‘Stars’ but we were not contacted,” they wrote. “Gotta clear those.”

“Stars” appears on Lovato’s new album, Confident, her fifth studio album, which was released on October 16 by Safehouse, Hollywood and Island Records. Both “Infinity Guitars” and “Riot Rhythm” are from the band’s first album, Treats.

Listen to all three songs below:

The first lead single of the album, “Cool for the Summer”, was released on July 1, and peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album’s second single, “Confident”, premiered on September 18, and has so far peaked at number 31 on the Hot 100.

The album features guest appearances from Iggy Azalea and Sirah. The singer also co-wrote most of the songs on the album, and worked with a handful of successful writers and producers, including Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Steve Mac, Rami and Stargate.
