Eiza González is one of Hollywood’s most popular up-and-coming Latinas. Season 3 of her show From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series just premiered Tuesday night on El Rey Network. And, as she continues to score roles in films such as Edgar Wright‘s upcoming Baby Driver, the Mexican actress wants to keep her personal life private and focus on her blooming career.
“I like to keep my life private,” Gonzalez told Variety Latino on Tuesday. “One time I heard Kevin Spacey (her co-star in the aforementioned film) say something that really resonated with me. He said, ‘If people know way too much about me, then when they see my characters they’ll only see Kevin. I want them to see whoever I am interpreting.’ So that’s what I want to do in my future.”
So, it was no surprise that she (very gracefully) told us she had “nothing” to say when we asked her about the photos of her and DJ Calvin Harris walking arm-in-arm, which were taken Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Although in the past she has been linked to actor Liam Hemsworth and Portugal’s famous soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, the only relationship the actress has confirmed is that with her From Dusk Till Dawn co-star D.J. Cotrona, whom she dated for about a year, between 2014 and 2015.
As long as Gonzalez continues to follow the advice of her Baby Driver co-star, she’ll keep outsiders guessing about her private life. But you can find out what her character Santanico Pandemonium is up to both inside and outside the bedroom every Tuesday at 9pm ET on El Rey Network.
