J.K. Rowling finally revealed her favorite Harry Potter character. The author, known for answering fan questions, admitted on Monday that her favorite character is Dumbledore.
Rowling was answering fan questions on Monday via her official Twitter page when a fan asked her about Dumbledore’s role in the new Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them movie. She was later asked her to share the name of her favorite character.
In one of her other tweets, she described Dumbledore’s thinking regarding Newt Scamander as identical to her own.
Last month, Rowling released a new online series History of Magic in North America published on Pottermore in four pieces. The stories include chapters on Native Americans, new villains and the creation of magic laws.
The brief outlines help set a background for the new Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, set in New York City circa 1926. Eddie Redmayne will star in the film.
