For the past three years, Breaking Bad fans have wondered if their favorite characters from the series will ever get to return to the small screen. Vince Gilligan, the series creator, recently revealed he doesn’t discard the possibility of other characters taking center stage once again.
“Why Saul and not another character like Jesse Pinkman and why not Gustavo Fring?” Gilligan told RadioTimes.com on Tuesday. “I could absolutely see a series about all these characters.”
Breaking Bad fans might also be able to see their favorite characters appear on Better Call Saul, currently on its second season and available on Netflix.
“We have this universe of characters from Breaking Bad many of whom could conceivably make an appearance or be very important players in Better Call Saul,” said Peter Gould, series co-creator. “Who knows, maybe going forward you might see other characters play a role.”
“I guess the short answer is never say never,” Gilligan added.
