WATCH: First Look at George Lopez's
TV Land

George Lopez stars in TV Land’s new comedy series Lopez. In the vein of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Louie, the single-camera show will follow the comedian as he struggles to navigate fame and race issues.

Lopez will executive produce the half-hour series along with John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky (Silicon Valley, King Of The Hill), both of whom will also write for the show. Michael Rotenberg (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) of 3 Arts Entertainment and Troy Miller (Arrested Development) will also executive produce.

“I’m excited that TV Land realizes that my personal challenges, insecurities and inability to connect are all part of my charm,” Lopez said in a statement last year when the show was first announced.

Lopez became a household name with ABC’s comedy George Lopez and later hosted a late-night talk show on TBS. He recently starred in a multi-camera sitcom for FX, Saint George, which had a 10-episode run.
