On Monday night, VH-1 Hip Hop Honors had their annual award ceremony at the David Geffen Hall in New York City. This year they honored Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Salt-N-Pepa and Lil’ Kim. The theme for this years was appropriately titled, “All Hail the Queens.”

There were many moving speeches honoring these beautiful women, but it’s the tribute from Betty White to Queen Latifah that got the Internet buzzing. The duo, who worked together on 2003’s Bringing Down the House, were not reunited on stage but the former star of the Golden Girls recorded a special expletive-laden message for Latifah.

“Who you calling a b!tch,” White asks as she read the lyrics from 1993’s U.N.I.T.Y. “I walk past these dudes when they passed me. One of ’em felt my booty, he was nasty. Since he was with his boys he tried to break fly. Huh, I punched him dead in his eye.”

She added, “They don’t write them like that anymore.”

First Lady Michelle Obama also tributed the singer-turned-actress in a much more serious way. She said, “Through your music and activism, including your support of the Let Girls Learn initiative, you all are encouraging young women all over the world to believe in themselves,” she said. “I’m so grateful to you for your passion and your contributions to our world and I can’t wait to see everything you’ll continue to achieve in the years ahead.”
