The cast of Bones may be getting ready to say goodbye, but they’re bringing back a fan favorite one more time. Betty White is returning to the hit Fox show, a representative from Fox confirmed to Variety Latino. The legendary actress is set to reprise her role as forensic anthropologist, Dr. Beth Mayer for the tenth episode entitled, “The 200th in the 10th,” according to Deadline who first reported the news.
No word yet on what she’ll be getting into this time around, but hopefully she’ll be involved in helping Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) solve a case like she did during her appearance last year.
White, who is fondly remembered for playing mid-westerner Rose Nylund on the hit The Golden Girls, has been a working actor for more than 75 years. She has seven Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and countless other accolades under her belt.
With Bones gearing up to wrap production with season 12, fans can expect that countless other popular guest stars will join White in saying goodbye.
Tune into Bones when it returns for its final season on January 3 at 9/8c only on Fox.
