Critics Choice Movie Awards ganadores: lista completa

La temporada de premios está a todo motor y hoy 15 de enero, aparte de conocer las tan anticipadas nominaciones a los Oscars, también se llevaron a cabo otros premios glamurosos. Se trata de los Critics Choice Movie Awards, presentados por el Broadcast Film Critics Association.

Las estrellas más A-List de Hollywood dijeron presente en el Hollywood Palladium para esta entrega #20 de los premios, incluyendo los que no fueron reconocidos por la Academia con nominaciones al Oscar.

Hoy todos estuvieron de buen humor y celebrando lo mejor del cine.

Michael Keaton salió mega-premiado, ganándose Mejor Actor y Mejor Actor en una Comedia por “Birdman.” Todo se ve muy prometedor para el actor que ya viene arrasando en todos las ceremonias, incluyendo los Golden Globes el pasado domingo. La película dirigida por Alejandro González Iñárritu también salió ganadora del premio al Mejor Reparto, Mejor Guión y  Mejor Banda Sonora Original (Antonio Sanchez).

El anfitrión de la noche Michael Strahan bromeó con Keaton que deberían hacer una secuela titulada “Birdman & Strahan.”Julianne Moore se ganó el premio a la Mejor Actriz por “Still Alice,” tal como lo hizo en los Golden Globes. En su discurso agradeció a las otras actrices nominadas y a las mujeres que sufren de Alzheimer’s quienes compartieron sus experiencias con ella.

“Boyhood,” película que Richard Linklater grabó en el transcurso de 12 años y que hoy también fue reconocida con varias nominaciones al Oscar, se llevó el premio a la Mejor Película y Mejor Director. “Este fue un proyecto de toda una vida para nosotros,” dijo el director en su discurso. “La gente habla de Boyhood como un experimento, pero no fue un experimento para nosotros; queríamos contar una historia, tuvimos fe y creímos en esta familia.”

Hubieron varios honores especiales que se otorgaron la noche del jueves. El legendario cineasta Ron Howard (“Apollo 13,” “A Beautiful Mind”) fue reconocido con el Genius Award, mientras que Kevin Costner recibió el Lifetime Achievement Award. Costner habló de sus ídolos de la actuación (Gene Hackman, Sean Connery) y le agradeció a todos los guionistas y directores a lo largo de su carrera por darle historias inolvidables para interpretar.

Jessica Chastain recibió el premio Most Valuable Player y utilizó su discurso para hablar sobre la importancia de la diversidad en Hollywood, señalando que hoy es el cumpleaños de Martin Luther King Jr., tal como lo hizo Common al recibir el premio a la Mejor Canción por “Glory” de “Selma.”

“The Lego Movie,” la cual fue marginada de la categoría Mejor Película Animada en las nominaciones de los Oscars, ganó en esa misma categoría, comprobando que “Everything IS Awesome!”
