One of the most awaited babies in the entertainment industry is finally here!
Colombian singer Shakira gave birth to her second son on January 29 in the city of Barcelona, Spain.
Shakira and her longtime boyfriend, soccer player Gerard Piqué, named their newborn Sasha which means “defender of mankind” and “warrior” they explain in an announcement on Instagram.
Sasha arrived Thursday night via C-section at hospital Quirón-Teknon and the new bundle of joy joins big brother Milan in the Piqué-Mebarak family fold.
Little Sasha already has his very own FC Barcelona soccer shirt which was shown off by Piqué’s dad, Amador Bernabéu who also gave a few details on who the baby looks like.
“He is blonde and he looks like Gerard. Let’s say he is a blonde Piqué”, confessed the proud grandfather.
